What is your opinion on the ERA short-term fellowship programme?

ERA short-term fellowship program is a great opportunity for a young nephrologist.
I would recommend it to everyone to be a part of it.

Do you think that the ERA short-term fellowship is a relevant experience that should be mentioned in your professional CV?

Absolutely.

How has the ERA short-term fellowship impacted your career and education?

After I finished my fellowship I feel more experienced and also already started to implement the knowledge I gained but also gave me an inspiration on what should I do better. It also opened me new opportunities on studies and researching groups.

What opportunities, experiences, and knowledge have you gained?

During my fellowship program thanks to my mentor Miha Arnol but also thanks to colleagues from the University Clinic of Nephrology - Ljubljana I had the opportunity to analyze better the indications for renal biopsy, excluding the age as a contraindication, treatments of glomerulonephrithis, new choices of vascular access, mapping before creation and also monitoring the maturation using the ultrasound. Also had luck to monitor and a lot of information about their experience of using Tolvapatan as a new therapeutic drug for polycystic kidney disease. I gained knowledge about using the ultrasound Doppler of kidney renal artery.
