Certainly yes. I consider receiving an ERA National Grant a significant achievement for a young nephrologist and it is highly valued in the nephrology community.

The ERA National Grant initiative is a great opportunity for all young nephrologists to present the results of their work and be rewarded for them. All National Societies should be involved in this initiative, as it can be difficult for young nephrologists, especially in smaller countries, to achieve such an award or to participate in the ERA Congress.

My impressions of the ERA initiatives are very positive. Above all, I consider them very motivating in further research and clinical activity. I very positively evaluate the free three-year membership in ERA, which has a wide range of further education options (webinars, fellowships, free access to journals,…).

ERA influences my daily work primarily through education. By watching regular webinars with experienced experts in the field and accessing the best nephrology journals, I gain very valuable knowledge in nephrology. I plan to apply for a clinical fellowship abroad, which ERA also offers.

Yes, I participated in the ERA Congress in Paris. Participation in this event clearly contributed to the improvement of my knowledge in clinical nephrology and I implemented several knowledge in clinical practice. I definitely plan to attend other ERA congresses in the future.
