The ERA fellowship program is an excellent opportunity for a young specialist to gain knowledge and experience, develop clinical and academic thinking. The program provides an opportunity to have a great start on the initial path of professional development and use the acquired knowledge not only for personal development, but also for the development and improvement of the medical service in the country.

Yes, of course. The six-month ERA Clinical Fellowship is currently considered one of the most important and valuable parts of my CV.

Training gave me the opportunity to rise to a new professional level, work with leading experts in the field, acquire important professional partnership connections, and taught me how to choose the right sources and formats for education and continuous development. Thanks to this program, I now continue to work and apply the acquired skills in the department of nephrology and hemodialysis of the largest academic hospital complex in Armenia, which, by the way, is the only adult nephrology department in the country.

The ERA fellowship was a unique chance for me, for the first time to deal with the entire scope of nephrology, that is, with all sub-branches of the profession, to discover the most profound aspects of the profession, to learn modern algorithms for clinical evaluation of patients, diagnosis, and treatment, which I now apply in my daily work.
I've improved my knowledge of the management of many kidney diseases, from arterial hypertension to patients with rare genetic diseases, and their multimodal management. I gained more experience and learned in the following sections:
1. Management of acute renal failure in patients with severe comorbid background by non-dialysis, pre-dialysis and hemodialysis treatment.
2. Teaching of technical theoretical skills of central venous catheter insertion and renal biopsy.
3. Plasmapheresis
4. Management of patients undergoing chronic hemodialysis, practical skills of Doppler ultrasound of AV fistulas.

6․ Nephropathological diagnostic skills.
7․ Microscopic examination of urine.
