PRD search tool
This ERA Coding system for Primary Renal Disease (PRD) and the related PRD search tool are tools assisting in recording the diagnosis of the kidney disease of your patient. Unlike previous versions of the ERA coding system this version includes codes and terms for most kidney diseases and not only for those that may lead to end-stage kidney failure.
The ERA coding system for PRDs has been developed in 2012 and updated in 2018. Being developed by experts in nephrology and coding experts this ERA PRD coding system has the advantage of including the latest knowledge on kidney disease as well as direct linkage to ICD-10 codes and SNOMED CT concept identifiers. As the coding of PRDs are subject to change, the ERA coding system for PRDs will be updated on a regular basis.
