How has the recognition from the ERA Awards affected your career trajectory and opportunities for collaboration?

As a recipient of the 2024 ERA Stanley Shaldon Award, I had the opportunity to present my research on an international stage. This unique opportunity fostered the dialogue with leaders in the field and led to new collaborations.

Can you share any upcoming projects or goals you have in mind that continue to stimulate the dialogue between education and research in your field?

My ultimate goal is to translate the immunological complexity of our patients into practical tools or treatments that clinicians can use to improve patient care. To reach this goal, it is of utmost importance to communicate translational research findings translational to patients with immunological kidney disease and healthcare providers at an early stage.
